MONTHLY HAPPENINGS

Troop 222 has resumed in-person troop meetings and activities. Check our troop calandar for the most up-to-date information on troop meetings and activities. If your family or your scout does not feel comfortable attending in-person events or is not feeling well, our scout leaders are happy to make arrangements to meet virtually on a scout-by-scout basis to help with scout rank advancements.

We continue to take extra precautions to minimize the risks associated with COVID-19 to both our scouts and adult leaders. In addition to additional cleaning and social distancing within our troop room, we plan to implement additional safety measures.

When it becomes safe, 2021 in-person interactions will exercise similar precautions that we have used in the past.  We will kindly ask that all scouts, adult leaders, and parent volunteers that participate in troop activities strictly adhere to the following COVID-related guidelines:

  • If you are not feeling well, please do not participate in any troop activity. To learn more about symptoms associated with COVID-19, please visit the Center for Disease Control website by clicking here.

  • Bring and wear a mask to all troop functions, particularly troop meetings and camp sites.

  • Every Scout must stay in a separate tent, except for spouses or father/son situations.

  • Scouts preparing meals must wear masks during meal preparation and must  wash hands before, during, and after meal preparation.

  • Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently.

  • All participants must practice social distancing.

We appreciate everyone helping to slow the spread of COVID-19 while making the scouting experience safer. Please do not hesitate to bring any questions or concerns to the attention of our Troop leadership.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
